CorpoMerch - Corporate Merchandise Catalogue & Admin Platform

Tech Stack
Description
CorpoMerch is the e-commerce catalogue for CorpoMerch by Backstage, a Dhaka-based supplier of customised corporate merchandise and print, ID cards, lanyards, keyrings, drinkware, bags, certificates, and large-format print like PVC banners and step-and-repeat backdrops. I designed and built it as two separate Next.js 16 apps sharing one PostgreSQL database via Prisma: a hand-rolled public storefront (corpomerch.com) and a shadcn/ui admin backoffice, deployed from two repos, client and admin.
In this website, Every product page resolves live, quantity-tiered bulk pricing through a single shared pricing engine, and every 'Send Inquiry' or 'Add to Cart' action ends in a pre-filled WhatsApp message so the business can keep running its sales process the way it always has.
The admin panel gives the CorpoMerch team a seven-tab product editor (basics, description, specs, images, variants, pricing, SEO) to manage the catalogue, with up to 3 variant axes per product, drag-and-drop image and spec ordering, a bulk tier-pricing editor, and a dashboard that surfaces data-health warnings and recent WhatsApp inquiries.
- Built two full-stack Next.js 16 apps from scratch, a public storefront and an internal admin, sharing one PostgreSQL schema.
- Designed a single resolvePrice() pricing engine used everywhere (product cards, PDP, cart, WhatsApp message) to resolve quantity-tiered, per-SKU bulk pricing with zero duplicated logic.
- Implemented a 3-axis product variant system with image-swapping tied to the primary axis, and an idempotent Generate SKUs flow that materialises the cartesian product of variant values.
- Replaced a traditional checkout with a WhatsApp-first inquiry flow: every inquiry is logged to Postgres with a frozen price snapshot before opening a pre-filled wa.me deep link.
- Built the admin's seven-tab product form, drag-and-drop image/spec reordering, bulk tier pricing, and a dashboard with data-health warnings for the CorpoMerch operations team.
